HD | IridiumXP is compatible with High Definition design applications for the PC. Users can work with uncompressed 10 bit 4:2:2:4 or 4:4:4:4 dual link video directly in a YUV or RGB colorspace. HD | IridiumXP has one SD SDI output dedicated to simultaneous SD-SDI for previewing either the video or key stream simultaneous to the HD stream. With simultaneous preview, HD material can be viewed on an HD-SDI monitor and an SDSDI monitor at the same time. Working uncompressed has tremendous advantages for livekeying and retaining color integrity in High Definition.

High quality 4:4:4:4 internal processing keeps the integrity of images through the whole post process. High Definition output is selectable between 10-bit YUV 4:2:2:4 or 10-bit 4:4:4:4 RGB providing the advantage of choosing which colorspace best suits your workflow. HD | IridiumXP is an uncompressed 10-bit HD-SDI output card that can reduce the overall system cost when building creative workgroups based on SANs. Included with HD | IridiumXP is Symmetry™, a 10-bit RGB/YUV sequential capture and playback station. Supported file formats are sequential 10-bit RGB Cineon and 10-bit YUV QuickTime™. Features include log and batch capture, playlist, assemble and insert edit to tape. Symmetry’s™ use of industry standard file formats ensures that media files can be moved instantly between applications without having to “import” or “export”. Symmetry™ together with HD | IridiumXP ensures support with most high-end compositing applications
